Duane Morris Partner Sandra A. Jeskie Named Vice President of International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw)

PHILADELPHIA, June 2, 2009 - Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce that partner Sandra A. Jeskie, a member of the firm's Trial Practice Group and co-chair of the firm's Information Technologies and Telecom interdisciplinary practice group, has been named vice president of the International Technology Law Association ("ITechLaw"). Jeskie will be president of ITechLaw's Executive Committee in 2010.

ITechLaw, formerly called the Computer Law Association, was founded in 1971 and is recognized as the world's premier organization representing lawyers in the field of technology law. The organization enjoys worldwide membership, representing six continents and a broad knowledge base. Each year, ITechLaw hosts numerous educational conferences, roundtables and other events around the world. It also publishes a quarterly bulletin containing topics of relevance to its members. Jeskie has been active in the organization for many years. She is on its board of directors and chairs the Publications Committee.

Jeskie has a diverse national practice focused on commercial and technology-based litigation, including commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, software litigation, e-commerce, privacy, security and Internet or computer law. Leveraging her more than 16 years' experience as a computer scientist, she also negotiates and drafts service agreements and content Internet-related agreements and counsels clients on a wide range of matters, including privacy, security policies and practices, software licensing, systems development projects, e-discovery and document retention. She has appeared on the faculties of dozens of professional education conferences in a number of U.S. cities and around the world, has appeared on the CN8 morning program, has been quoted in numerous publications and is a co-author of a "Contracts" chapter in an acclaimed treatise, Business and Commercial Litigation in Federal Courts. She was appointed to serve as Special Master to two courts and has served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers School of Law, Camden, New Jersey. She has been named BTI Client Service All-Star for "delivering the absolute best client service," 2009 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and is listed in the International Who's Who of Internet and e-Commerce Lawyers.

Jeskie earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1996. Prior to that, she graduated with an M.B.A. from LaSalle University, where she also earned her B.A. in computer science.
