Eliese R. Herzl-Betz

Eliese R. Herzl-Betz is a trial attorney who focuses on complex litigation including trade secrets, pharmaceutical and health law matters, securities violations, copyright, FINRA and AAA arbitration, employment law, and ADA claims.

Ms. Herzl-Betz has extensive experience in federal and state court practice having served as law clerk to the Hon. John M. Gallagher and the Hon. R. Barclay Surrick of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and law clerk to the Hon. Aimee R. Belgard of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

As a first chair trial attorney, Ms. Herzl-Betz has experience prosecuting attempted escape, reckless driving, and driving while intoxicated charges, and Grand Jury experience presenting various felony drug, weapon, and fraud charges. She also has second chair trial experience prosecuting felony contraband and vehicular manslaughter charges from her time at the Chemung County District Attorney’s Office.

Ms. Herzl-Betz won First Place in the 2017 Pennsylvania Bar Association Intellectual Property Writing Competition with her article examining developments in music copyright law titled “Give Me the Beat Boys, and Free My Copyrighted Creativity.” 

Ms. Herzl-Betz is a graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and the College of William & Mary.
