PHILADELPHIA, 2010 - Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce its results in the Chambers USA survey of the American legal profession. The firm's recognition continues to grow, as its individual lawyers received 69 citations for excellence, and its practice groups received an additional 20.

Additionally, the Construction Practice Group was nominated for the prestigious Chambers USA Award for Excellence, which honors outstanding lawyers and law firms across the USA, reflecting both pre-eminence in key practice areas and achievements over the last 12 months.

The 2010 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business is published by Chambers & Partners Legal Publishers of London, and will be available in June.


Chambers singled out the success of the firm's national Insurance and Construction practice groups and awarded top-tier status to the Washington, D.C., Immigration and California Insurance practice groups. In addition, Chambers cited the following practice groups, by state. In California, where the firm has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Lake Tahoe, the Insurance practice group was cited. In Pennsylvania, where the firm has offices in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, seven practice groups were cited: Banking & Finance, Bankruptcy/Restructuring, Corporate/M&A & Private Equity, Intellectual Property, Labor and Employment, Litigation and Real Estate. In Illinois, where the firm's office is in Chicago, four practice groups were recognized: Banking & Finance, Construction, Corporate/M&A & Private Equity and Healthcare. In Massachusetts, where the firm's office is in Boston, the Bankruptcy/Restructuring practice group was cited. In New York, the firm's New York City office was cited for Construction. In Washington, D.C., the Immigration practice group was cited. In Florida, the firm's Miami office was ranked for Healthcare. In Georgia, the firm's Atlanta office was cited for Intellectual Property and Labor and Employment.
